Firewalking is viewed by many as one of
the greatest attestations of human potential. While
no one seems to know when or where it all began, firewalking has been
traced back more than 4,000 years – over hot rocks, glowing lava, and
of course, seething coals. It has been regularly used by countless
cultures over the millennium in spiritual endeavors and initiation
rites of all kinds.
Augustin suggests that
all sensations of fear are the same (only the buttons that trigger it
are different) and by stepping through the illusory membrane of fear
and traversing hot coals barefoot, individuals are able to better
understand and transcend their fear in virtually all aspects of daily
living. At his firewalking demonstrations and workshops, limiting belief systems can
be
shattered forever. Through this, the individual becomes empowered and
is able to reach out and grasp what previously seemed unattainable.
Augustin
is available for firewalking demonstrations for corporate and private
events, and also for workshops for any size group. Demonstrations and
workshops may be tailored to include Glasswalking, Arrow Snapping,
Rebar Bending, Board & Brick Breaking, Spoon Bending, etc.
Workshops
are designed
to allow participants to walk cross a bed of glowing coals in just one
evening. Reach beyond the boundaries of your beliefs and experience the
exhilaration firewalking has to offer regardless of whether you choose
to participate or prefer to just observe as others walk unharmed across
the red hot coals.
Augustin's
own quest for personal mastery began in the arts. He performed across
Canada and Europe as a solo classical guitarist and was the artistic
director at the Harbourfront Guitar Studio in Toronto. He later moved
to Vancouver where he became the director at the Vancouver Actors
Network. Concurrent with music and acting, he studied hypnosis and
channeling and although these techniques are not specifically taught in
his workshops, he views them as integral to firewalking by their own
right.
